He is a goof who loves toys, treats and belly rubs and is full of life, affection, and tail wags. Shep is currently struggling with the stress of kennel life and really needs a calm, loving home where he can decompress. He would flourish in the quiet and attention available in a home. For that reason, he is available to foster as well as adopt.<br/><br/>Shep weighs 68 lbs but not to worry. This more mature gent has good manners, doesn't jump, and takes treats gently. He is really sweet, listens well and pretty low energy for the most part. Check out the video in his profile where you can see more of his personality. Our volunteers took him out for a nice walk and got a glimpse of the amazing dog he truly is. He also went on a day out of the kennel at a fabulous sniffspot and boy, did he have a great time! He loves to swim and he pretty much ignored the dogs around him. He is a different dog away from the kennel. Check out this fabulous video of his day out!! Won't you give this mature guy a chance?<br/>Shep can be picky about his doggy friends so if you have a dog in the home, bring them to meet n greet to see if there are get 8 paws up.
