Shep's Story

Introducing – SHEP!

Shep is a gorgeous nearly 11-month-old blue merle Border Collie puppy looking for his forever home. What are some of the great attributes about this pup?

• Loves people
• Food, ball and toy motivated
• Housebroken (“shee shee”)
• Loves to play and rough house with other dogs
• Does well with cats
• Knows sit, laydown, fetch, drop it, go look out the window
• Is crate trained (just not-so-much with the soft ones)
• Should be fine with older children, but too much for young children.

What else can we say? Shep is no slouch. He is smart and needs an active home that will provide him with proper direction, training, and lots of activities to exercise his body and brain. He would probably do best in a home with another young dog that is receptive to his rough and tumble play. If you are ready to take on an active and exuberant young dog and willing to train him up to be the best dog ever, then Shep may be the pup for you!

Shep weighs about 45 pounds. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. He is being fostered in Salem, Oregon. His adoption fee is $400.
