Shelton's Story

Location: Whitehouse Station, New Jersey

Meet Shelton, a stunning 10-month-old Australian Shepherd with a gorgeous coat. He's fully vaccinated and neutered. Shelton can be reactive, not aggressive, however, his reactivity can feel intimidating at first meet. He can be skittish with new people and needs time to settle in, not long though thats for sure! With a few days to decompress, his affectionate, silly, playful personality starts to shine. He has a nice balance of energy: he can snuggle and relax, but also enjoys play and activity.

Because we want his next home to be his true forever, Shelton requires an experienced, strong, confident handler. He'll need a quiet, low-traffic home with no small children. His adopter should understand herding breeds and be ready to put in the work. This special boy isn't for everyone, and that's okay. We're looking for the right person. Give him patience, structure, and consistency, and you'll discover an incredibly loyal, loving companion.

Please contact Big Dog Rescue Project through the application below if you are seriously interested in adopting Shelton.

https://wp.me/P6s0nM-10T
