This sweet momma has done an amazing job raising her litter of five puppies and is now ready to be someone's cherished best friend.<br/><br/>Shelly is incredibly affectionate and people-oriented. She loves to follow her person from room to room and is happiest when she's snuggled up next to you on the couch or curled up beside you in bed. If you enjoy a constant, gentle companion, Shelly will gladly fill that role.<br/><br/>She has done well around other dogs in her foster home. At times, she may growl if another dog tries to get your attention while she's cuddling on the couch, but she has been responsive to gentle redirection and continues to improve.<br/><br/>Shelly is currently working on house training and will need a patient, understanding home to help her continue learning good potty habits. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently.<br/><br/><br/> Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.<br/> If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.<br/> Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.<br/> The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. <br/> More questions?
