She is the definition of a lap dog and thrives on cuddles and companionship. She is also potty trained, making her an easy and wonderful addition to a home.<br/><br/>Shelly is currently heartworm positive, BUT she has already begun her treatment with her dedicated foster, and the cost of her care is fully covered for her adopter! She will simply need a committed adopter who can bring her to a few remaining appointments at Emancipet in Austin - a visit in June and two in July - to complete her treatment.<br/><br/>Shelly is well on her way to a healthy future, and with just a little follow-through, she will be ready to live a long, happy life.
