Sheldon's Story

Meet Sheldon The Brains, the Bloopers, and the Big Heart
Bazinga! Sheldons here to prove that genius comes in fluffy form. This 6-month-old Standard Aussie is a perfect blend of smart, sweet, and slightly goofy the kind of guy wholl melt your heart and make you laugh every day.
Hes a double merle with a good amount of vision and hearing, and honestly? He doesnt let anything slow him down. Sheldon knows his name, loves kids, dogs, and even cats basically, hes the social butterfly of the science department.
Hes crate-trained, potty-trained, and even puppy-pad trained for those oops, still a baby! moments. Hes picked up routines quickly and is already showing off his clever side hes basically the Einstein of treat time.
When hes not chasing toys or showing off his big personality, Sheldons all about snuggles. He loves being carried like a baby (dont tell him hes getting big), but also walks around like Mr. Macho with serious main-character energy.
If youre looking for a pup whos equal parts brains, heart, and hilarity Sheldons your guy.

Double Merle Aussies are the result of a genetic defect from improper breeding of 2 Merle colored Aussies (solid colored aussies may also carry the merle gene, so genetic testing BEFORE breeding is crucial).

This creates a genetic cocktail of potential issues with hearing, vision, and neurological. While they are easily trained using hand signals, voice commands, or even vibrating colors, not all defects necessarily present themselves early on. Committing to these dogs now means committing to consistent checkups around the potential defects and care should something present itself in the future.
