Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $70!<br/><br/>Meet Shelby! Shelby is a 2-year-10-month-old, 48-pound pittie mix with a heart as big as her smile. She was found in rural Texas earlier this year while pregnant and soon gave birth to nine healthy puppies-all of whom have found loving homes. Now it's Shelby's turn to find her forever family!<br/><br/>This smart, gentle girl is housebroken, crate trained, and perfectly behaved when left alone-no destruction, just patience and good manners. Shelby loves spending her days watching squirrels from the window, playing tug-of-war or fetch, and snuggling with her people. She gets along very well with the other dog in her foster home, but does have a prey drive, so would likely do bset in a home without cats. <br/><br/>She has medium energy-always up for a nice walk or a play session, but just as happy to curl up on the couch for a cozy nap. Shelby is full of love, affection, and loyalty, and she'll make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a sweet, easygoing best friend.<br/><br/>Shelby is currently being fostered in Freehold, NJ. Her adoption fee is $475.<br/><br/>To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt<br/><br/>All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
