I'm Sheila, a sweet Australian Shepherd gal with a beautiful merle coat and plenty of wigglebutt charm. <br/><br/>I'm probably around 6–7 years old (it's a bit hard to tell exactly!), and I'm at that wonderful stage in life where I enjoy a good mix of relaxing and adventuring.<br/><br/> I love hanging out with my people<br/> I enjoy soaking up sunshine in the yard (cloudy days are fine too!)<br/> My favorite place to sleep is on my dog bed near your bed<br/> I'm great in the car and always ready for a little adventure<br/><br/> Sheila's Personality<br/><br/>Sheila is a calm, sweet companion who enjoys being near her people without being overly demanding. She's happy lounging around the house but also enjoys getting out for a walk or outing.<br/><br/>She also loves:<br/> Being brushed (spa day please!)<br/> Belly rubs — the more the better<br/> Showing off tricks like sit and down<br/><br/>She's crate trained, but honestly she's such a good girl that she usually doesn't need one.<br/><br/> Ideal Home for Sheila<br/><br/>Because she's not a tiny dog, very young children might find her a bit much, but older kids are perfectly fine. <br/><br/> She can be a little particular about other dogs and occasionally a bit snarky, so proper introductions are important. Dog parks aren't really her thing.<br/><br/> She hasn't been tested with cats, but she doesn't appear to have much prey drive.<br/><br/> Adventure Potential<br/><br/>Sheila enjoys walks and would love to go hiking someday!
