Update June 2026: So much has happened in a short time. Sheena and Flora have been overlooked so many times. Recently our Rescue Walkers took both of them out in a play yard and they had the best time. Sheena loves the water, in fact she will stand in a bucket....yes all four legs. They are getting more human friendly, not so scared and they both deserve to find a loving forever home or maybe together.<br/><br/>Where to start....The Deming shelter called ARL for some help. There were several Australian Shepherds just left on some property. ARL already took in 4 and after much difficulty the Deming shelter was able to catch more. Sheena is about 5 years old and not as shy as the others, but at 5 years old she doesn't understand what has happened either. Neither do we. So ARL will work with the dogs and show them love, good human attention and all the things they deserve. ARL has one other that does not want to come out. Much more work to do to try to show them not all humans are unkind. Please see the other posts too. My adoption fee is $200 which includes my spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm disease test, Microchip/registration fee and collar . ADOPT ME TODAY and find a friend for life!
