SHEBA Border Collie Mix Littleton, NH

Please meet Sheba! This pretty Border Collie mix pup was surrendered by her owner after she began chasing their chickens….just couldn’t help the herding instinct. Sheba is now happily living in foster care (where there are no chickens…lol) and receiving lots of TLC while waiting for a place to hang her leash forever.

Sheba is 6 months and weighs in a 46 pounds. Her mix is a best guess, but considering her size at this age there’s likely a larger breed in her DNA. Typical of border collies, she is an energetic, smart girl and will do best in an active home where she’ll get plenty of regular exercise and stimulation. She is house trained and crate trained. Also enjoys going for rides and is very well behaved in the car.

This lovable, happy girl gets along great with other dogs. She doesn’t seem to know what to think about cats. She might do okay with a dog-savvy kitty; however, with that herding instinct, she’d probably chase a cat that runs. There are no children in her foster home but she’s a very affectionate pup who loves her humans so we think she would love to be part of a family with kids 8 or over. Though she would not intentionally harm anyone, playful, energetic pups can accidently knock little ones down.

Sheba has been spayed and is up to date on vaccines. She’s also micro-chipped and on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Her doggy bag is packed and she’s all set to head for her forever home.
