Sheba is a friendly, happy girl. Her original owner had to move to a nursing home, so she ended up at the Clinton Animal Shelter. She spent most of her life tied up outdoors, and she is now getting used to a soft bed indoors. She could stand to lose a few pounds, but is otherwise healthy.

Shep's Place Senior Dog Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
As a Sanctuary, our dogs are welcome to stay forever. But if a person or family comes along that is a good fit, and we believe that the dog would be better off with them, then we are certainly open to adopting them out. We require that a potential adopter fill out an application, meet the dog at our facility, and submit to a home visit. If that goes well, there is a two-week trial foster period, which either side can cancel. Hopefully at the end, our dog will be happy in its new home!
