"Hi! My name is Shasta and I was recently rescued<br/>from the middle of a busy road in 5:00<br/>traffic. I was SO afraid--I just stood frozen--afraid<br/>to move. I don't know why I was discarded. Maybe it<br/>was because I wasn't a small puppy any more, but<br/>REALLY--I am a great dog! I am about eight months old and LOVE people and other dogs. I like to romp and play with adults and older children (you know--the<br/>ones that don't knock over easily!) and would be a<br/>great companion dog for a family who already has a dog in need of good company. I am a healthy female and fully vetted. I will be going soon to be spay so I<br/>won't add more unwanted puppies into our community. I have a beautiful golden coat and an "ear to ear" smile.
