Sharona's Story

Meet Sharona!

If you're looking for a sweet, smart, easygoing companion, Sharona may be your perfect match!

This beautiful girl has settled into foster care like a pro and has quickly impressed everyone with how smart she is. Sharona already knows sit, stay, down, kennel up, no, go outside, go pee pee, and easy. She is very food motivated and loves learning new things, especially when treats are involved!

Sharona's favorite thing in the world is spending time with her people. She loves attention and will happily roll over for endless belly rubs. When she's not soaking up affection, you'll often find her lounging on the couch or napping nearby while you work.

Despite her size, Sharona is a gentle and quiet girl. In fact, her foster says she doesn't bark at all! She may not be the best choice if you're looking for a guard dog, but she's an excellent choice if you're looking for a peaceful companion. She'll let you know when she needs to go outside or when it's mealtime with a few adorable whines.

Sharona enjoys spending time outdoors and loves running and playing in a fenced yard. One of her favorite games is chasing water from the garden hose. She also walks nicely on a leash and enjoys exploring the world around her.

She gets along well with other dogs and has enjoyed having a canine companion in her foster home. While she hasn't spent time around children in foster care, her sweet and affectionate personality suggests she could do well with respectful kids.

Sharona is also wonderfully cooperative when it comes to care and handling. She has done great with ear treatments, eye ointment, oral medications, and even wearing diapers when needed.

The only thing Sharona asks for is a slow feeder at mealtime. She loves her food and eats so fast that her foster jokes she could beat a vacuum cleaner hose in an eating contest!

Sharona is the total package: smart, loving, gentle, easygoing, dog-friendly, and incredibly sweet. She is ready to find a family of her own and spend her days getting belly rubs, chasing water hoses, and being your loyal best friend.

Come meet Sharona and see why everyone who meets her falls in love.
