Sharon Weiss's Story

Meet Sharon Weiss. We just had to give each of the seven jacks from a Hoarding case super fun names to go with their super fun personalities. So she is Sharon Weiss because it’s always someone else fault. It’s never her fault. If you don’t know about the Marie Calendars pie situation two thanksgivings ago you owe it to yourself to check it out on social media! She’s actually very shy and just sort of hangs back to see what everyone else is doing before she proceeds to do anything or allow petting. She is really not so much a misfit we just think the names are fun. This little gal is begging to trust and be loved. She’s silly and sweet and will blossom in a home of her own. She came from a hoarding situation with several others and has taken some time to adjust to human interaction but she has come a really long way. She is not fond of being picked up but she does come close enough for but scritches and scratches. She will also. often give you kisses. She is a Jack Russell mix with what we aren’t sure. She is very curious about everything and likes to know what’s going on and be in the center of it all, all the time.
She will need a fenced yard ans she may be a flight risk ant first til she knows you. She will need to be monitored when opening doors that are not leading out to a fenced yard area to make anhre she does t escape. She’s a great gal that needs someone to give her time and patience to learn her new home and routine. She is crate trained and will sleep through the night. She does very well inside and will not potty unless you don’t let her out often enough she doesn’t quite know how to tell you she has to go potty but she does prefer to do it outside.
Be sure you know the breed as Jacks are highly energetic, mischievous and can be devious little pups but they are also wonderful companions. That are also excellent rodent control. Forget the cat get yourself one of these and they will eradicate any vermin you may have. We have seen them do it and they are relentless about their job.
East TN and out of state welcome. Apply at petpath.org
