Shar's Story
SHAR

Shar was a tiny baby when she arrived with her sister. Around 8 weeks old, if that. She has grown up in the shelter - watching her sister get adopted, watching her friends leave, and going to and from adoption events without any luck. The view of the chain link has become a core memory for her, and it's not fair. Puppies should not grow up in shelters. Shar is extremely friendly with any and everyone - loves dogs, wants to love cats but they don't love her back, adores humans (esp tiny humans). She is a bubbly, goofy, upbeat girl with so much affection to offer. She could play fetch for hours and then take a long nap beside you. She enjoys water a lot, too. She has come a long way on the leash! A harness is easier for her to maneuver currently, but she does a wonderful job on walks or at events. She would be a wonderful dog for a young person who has a lot of time to offer her. She's very loyal and wants that 1-on-1 time, but she'd also do really well in a home with an older dog to show her the ropes. Shar continues to be looked over, and it's harder and harder every day.
