And she deserves a wonderful one.<br/>Shanti had a difficult and traumatic start in life, being hit by a car while pregnant and all babies were lost during the vet’s efforts to save her life. Our dedicate team provided all the urgent care and nurtured her to complete recovery.<br/>Everyone who has spent time with her says the same thing: she is perfect. Her gentleness and her calmness is like therapy and gives you joy. She has a respectful way of being close to you without ever crowding you, as if she instinctively knows how to make herself welcome in any space. She stays out of drama and avoids trouble, which shows deep understanding and perceptiveness. <br/>At the vet Shanty is patient and composed. Her caretaker, who looked after her personally, described her simply as perfect. That's not a word people use lightly about a dog they see every day. It's earned.<br/>Underneath that calm exterior is real intelligence — Shanty notices things, reads situations, and adapts with an ease that speaks to just how smart she is. And despite everything, she still loves affection. She still wants to be told she's good, that she's loved, that she matters. A little praise, a soft word, a gentle hand — and her whole demeanour lights up with joy.<br/>Shanty participated in the shelter outreach events, during which she met many children and adults. She showed how loving, clever and sweet street dogs can be. She advocated for human kindness and despite the cruelty she has witnessed in her 4 years of life, her heart is pure gold. We have many videos of her doing this special job.<br/>She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to leave shelter life for good. She is wonderful with children as well as cats.<br/>Shanty isn't asking for much. She made this long journey from Azerbaijan to find peace, the same peace her name promises. A loving home and someone who will see her the way her shelter caretaker does.
