Seamus is eager to learn and already has a solid training foundation. He is incredibly smart and loves having a job to do.<br/>Like many dogs bred to work, Seamus has a high energy level and a strong prey drive. His energy can be channelled into positive outlets such as advanced obedience, agility, scent work, hiking, or other activities that challenge both his mind and body. Because of his prey drive, he is not suitable for homes with small animals or livestock.<br/>Seamus is seeking an adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He would do best with someone who appreciates the unique qualities of working breeds and is prepared to invest in continuing his training and development.<br/>Sadly, Seamus is currently living in a boarding kennel. While he is safe and cared for, kennel life is no place for a bright, energetic dog like him. He deserves a home, a routine, and a person to call his own.<br/>Behind those intelligent eyes is a loyal companion just waiting for the right person to give him a chance. With commitment, guidance, and understanding, Seamus has all the potential to become an exceptional partner and best friend.
