Shalom's Story

Hi. I'm looking for my new mom. Do you know her?
She loves to sit on the couch and hug me. I follow her everywhere, and she knows I'm scared of being alone, so she doesn't leave me too often. She also thinks I'm the only pet she needs because I give her the love and loyalty of 20 dogs and she probably doesn't really like cats that much either. Sometimes she will toss my ball across the room so I can bring it back. I think that's a test but she should know I'd never leave her. She's never going to have to go potty alone again. I will protect her!
The place I lived before, since I was a puppy, named me Shalom, but I'll answer to anything you call me as long as you say it with love in your voice. ❤️ I don't think they really loved me anyway because they dropped me off far away from home two times after I hurt my arm. That was really scary! The place that picked me up was talking about doing the unthinkable to me 😳
I'm almost 5 years old, and I weigh about 35 pounds. I know basic commands, and I walk really nicely on a leash. I'm a good girl for car rides, too. I'm housebroken, but the place that stopped me from being put down and took me to a doctor taught me to use potty pads, too. The Den Mom here loves me a whole lot, but she has a LOT of other dogs, and I don't like them. She said to tell you that I'm spayed, microchipped, and have had all my shots. Oh, and I don't have heartworms either.
I've been here for a really long time, and I love the people,e but they said I deserve someone who can give me all their love. Please help me find my new mom. And tell her I can even do stairs, so don't worry about me missing my arm. I hug with my whole bod,y so it's no biggie!

Thanks for your help 🙏❤️🐾

PS I live in Hayesville, NC right now, but this rescue will allow long-distance adopters and even keeps an apartment here for them to use!

If you think I'm just right for you, you can expedite the adoption process by filling out an application here:
https://form.jotform.com/80595190554159

And feel free to message the Den Mom with questions. She likes talking about me!

----------------------------------------------
Thanks for taking the time to consider our sweet girl!
