Shakira 's Story

Shakira is a 2-3 year old Saint Bernard/collie mix. Shakira came to us from a hoarding situation and as a result, is scared of some every day things. AT times, she is very loving and other times, she seems to be scared of loud noises. Shakira needs a home that will be patient with her. She loves to be loved on and hugged. Shakira is not overly active but is large so might need a larger place to call home. Shakira is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.

Shakira is being fostered in Kentucky by SPARKY Rescue. If you would like to show this sweet girl what a real good life is please fill out an application at fots.petfinder.com

FOTS RESCUE's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters must fill out the online application first, no phone calls accepted until this process is complete. Adopters must have a fenced in backyard or rural acreage. We want to make our adoptions as easy as possible, as we want our dogs in homes and not living in kennels, but we also want to make sure our decision on their forever home will be a permanent, loving and safe environment. Rescue dogs have had disappointments already in their short lives and we want their 2nd chance to be our best choice.
