SHADOW

SHADOW is a 6 year old, 7 pound Morkie. He is not 100% blind yet, but has very limited eye sight now and may eventually go fully blind.<br/><br/>Some of Shadow's favorite things: fruit (the sweeter the better), cuddles and yoga mats.<br/><br/>Shadow seriously loves to be cuddled and held. He is very affectionate. Any time his foster parents sit down, he climbs in their laps to curl up and take a nap.<br/>He laso adores their yoga mats. Anytime they begin to workout, he thinks it’s playtime and brings his toy to the at to play. <br/><br/>Shadow is kindest, sweetest dog. He loves giving kisses, and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Even when it's bath time! <br/><br/>Shadow's house training is going great. It got off to a rocky start when he went from the shelter and into his foster home, but now he's super close to being fully potty trained.<br/><br/>Shadow's foster parents are convinced he thinks he's a little human. He loves being carried around like a baby and laying and receiving a light massage. He is also VERY curious and playful. Likes going outside (not particularly near loud streets) and walking around in the sun!<br/><br/>Shadow knows bed time, dinner/breakfast time, and has figured out where the furniture is so he doesn’t bump into things. He is also very very brave! He jumps on and off the couch by himself, tries to climb up the bed and runs after us (by following our voices).<br/><br/>Because of Shadow's handicap and because he has a tendency to get spooked on the street, we are seeking a quiet home for him with no children and one in a quiet neighborhood. Please understand that homes or apartments on busy streets is not what Shadow needs.<br/><br/>Due to stay at home orders, we have limited our adoption territories to Brooklyn and Manhattan only. We are also currently not conducting in-person home visits and in place will do a virtual one. While Shadow is up-to-date on shots and microchipped, he is not yet neutered.
