Hi, I’m Shadow!<br/><br/>I’m an 8-year-old Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix with a handsome face, a gentle heart, and a very important retirement plan: find a family, get comfortable, and spend the rest of my days being loved! I think I've earned it, don't you?<br/><br/>I was rescued from euthanasia in California, and I came incredibly close to never getting the chance to grow old with a family of my own. Thankfully, Angel Dog Alliance stepped in and gave me another shot at life. Now I'm hoping someone out there has a soft spot for a sweet, mellow gentleman like me.<br/><br/>I'm a very good boy with a calm, easygoing personality. I'm not looking for a life full of chaos or constant excitement. I'd much rather enjoy the simple things: a comfortable place to rest, some fresh air, a little exploring, and someone who enjoys having a loyal companion nearby. I'm at that wonderful age where I know how to appreciate a peaceful day!<br/><br/>I'm also neutered and up to date on my vaccinations. My rescue is still getting to know me, but they've already discovered what a sweetheart I am. I'm currently in California and ready to travel when the right family comes along.<br/><br/>I know some people might see my age and keep scrolling, but eight years old doesn't mean my best days are behind me. I still have so much life to enjoy and so much love to give. I just need someone willing to give an older boy his chance.<br/><br/>I'm Shadow. I survived the shelter, I got my second chance, and now I'm hoping to find my retirement home. I don't need much. Just a family who will love me for all the years I have ahead.
