He is very smart, learns quickly, and already knows a few basic commands. He is very treat motivated and is easily trainable with commitment from his adopters. He has a decent recall but leash manners could use a little work. He does well in the car and will typically stay quietly in the back (has also ridden quietly in a crate). <br/><br/>Shadow will require regular grooming, so please factor this in when making the decision to apply for adoption. He has been groomed with the rescue and does well EXCEPT that he does not like his face groomed and will need a groomer who can work on this with him.<br/><br/>Shadow is great with everyone he meets. But due to his size, exuberance, and energy level, we recommend kids in the home are 12 and up.
