Shadow came into care after his previous owners realized they were not fully prepared for the energy level and ongoing needs of his breed. Through no fault of his own, he found himself looking for a fresh start and a family who understands just how special he is.<br/><br/>Shadow is rambunctious, playful, and always ready for fun. He has a solid foundation of training, knows his basic commands, and has good recall, showing that he is both intelligent and eager to work with his people. He absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them, though his play style can be a bit rough at times simply because he does not always realize his own size and strength. With proper supervision and continued guidance, he does very well and truly thrives in canine company.<br/><br/>People are just as important to Shadow as playtime. He adores human attention, is incredibly affectionate, and will happily cuddle up and try to sit on you whenever he gets the chance. Shadow loves being outdoors, whether it is running, playing, or simply exploring his surroundings. His ideal home will be with someone who is familiar with his breed and ready to continue the training and structure already started with our trainer.
