Shadow Bear's Story

DOB 11/22/25
Shadow Bear is a big ol’ goofy puppy with an even bigger heart! This handsome Cane Corso is an impressive boy - he’s 75lbs at 9 months old (currently) and he’s still growing into his giant paws.

Shadow has an amazing temperament and truly just wants two things: to play and to be loved. He’s done wonderfully with every dog he’s met and has a naturally happy, playful personality. He’s also incredibly smart and picks up new things quickly, making him a fun dog to train and watch grow.

With a brain that’s always working, Shadow Bear loves having things to do. Chew sticks, Kongs, puzzle toys, sniff walks, training games — he’s happiest when he has an outlet for all that puppy energy and intelligence.

Shadow Bear has so much potential and so much love to give. He’s the kind of dog who is going to become an incredible, devoted companion to the family lucky enough to bring him home.

We did not cut off his ears, crappy previous owner did. Super sweet, big goofy boy

Please visit www.handsheartspaws.org for an adoption application

All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, heartworm tested, and they are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home visit, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for this dog is $400___.

We do not REQUIRE a fenced in yard (some dogs DO REQUIRE a fence. Decide what is best for each dog), we do REQUIRE a means of safe outside containment. We do NOT adopt to homes that use invisible fencing. Invisible fencing is NOT a safe means of outside containment.

We are willing to adopt out-of-state, contingent on our ability to complete a home visit, but you must travel to Omaha to complete the adoption. We do not transport or ship our dogs
