Watching people pass her by while louder, flashier dogs got all the attention. <br/><br/>And then time ran out.<br/><br/>We got the call. And of course… we said yes. Because how do you not save a dog like that?<br/><br/>Now she’s in foster care and—no surprise here—she’s absolutely thriving. Turns out, when you take a perfect dog out of a stressful shelter, she becomes even more perfect. She loves toys, enjoys playtime, and then is like, “Okay, that was fun. Nap time.”<br/><br/>Shadow does well with other dogs, but like any classy queen, she prefers proper introductions. No chaotic “hi nice to meet you LET’S WRESTLE” energy, please.<br/><br/>What really makes Shadow special though?<br/>It’s her heart.<br/><br/>She’s gentle. Observant.
