Sesame's Story
Hi there! My name is Sesame and I am a sweet, mixed-breed 2.5-year-old boy.
I’ve been waiting at the sanctuary since I was just a puppy, and I’m still holding out hope that my forever family is out there. Everyone here says I’m the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet—I just love the people here and would happily soak up pets and attention all day long. I can be shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I am the most affectionate young man.

I’m a playful pup at heart who loves to run and zoom, but don’t worry, I also have a great off switch and am just as happy to curl up and relax with you. I already know how to sit, and since I’m very treat-motivated, I’d do really well with some patient training.

I do have a few things I’m still working on: car rides and leash walks make me a little nervous. With time, trust, and some gentle guidance, I know I can overcome those fears. What I need most is a family who’s willing to take a chance on me and show me all the wonderful things life has to offer.

After almost three years of waiting, I’d love to find an experienced dog owner with a fenced yard where I can run, play, and feel safe.

If you’re looking for a loving, loyal buddy who will be by your side through it all, please consider making me part of your family.

I am up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

**Important**
The cost to adopt is $250, and the adoption process begins with an Adoption Application that is located at: www.faithfulfriendsnc.org/adopt

Once your completed application has been reviewed the humans will contact you with questions and/or set an appointment for you to meet me. Thank you! Please read all guidelines before sending in an application. Do not reach out to the sanctuary about the status of your application, we will contact you if we are interested in setting up an appointment.
