Seri's Story

Meet Seri | Apply Here | Videos

Seri is a calm, affectionate 3 year old brindle Jindo Mix who is thriving in foster care while continuing to adjust to her new environment. At around 30 pounds, she is a perfect size for both apartment and suburban living.

Seri has shown herself to be gentle, loving, and attentive. She enjoys spending time with her people, often following them around the house and seeking out pets and cuddles. Outdoors, she is still adjusting and can be sensitive to new experiences, noises, and other dogs, so shorter, calmer walks help her feel safe and confident. Seri is learning crate habits; she may need some encouragement with treats to enter, but once inside she settles quickly and rests quietly.

Seri would thrive in a patient, understanding home that can provide consistency, gentle guidance, and plenty of affection. She is a sweet companion who is eager to continue building confidence and enjoy life with her forever family.

Training Program: Seri is eligible for our Jindo Journey Grant Stipend, which covers 2 professional training sessions to support a smooth transition into their forever home. Additional training sessions may be recommended based on the individual needs of the dog and would be completed and paid for by the adopter.

To learn more about Seri's rescue story, click here.

Home For The Holidays! $100 off Jindo adoption fees ($450 and up) from Dec 13–31.

Come meet our adoptable dogs at this weekend's Korean K9 Rescue event

Meet Us This Saturday

Just Food for Dogs Williamsburg - 625 Driggs Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211

Adoption Hours: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Saturday, Dec 20th, 2025

Learn more about our adoption process:

www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-procedures

www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-faq

Korean K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit saving dogs from the Korean dog meat trade and overcrowded shelters.

Support our mission:

• Donate: www.koreank9rescue.org/donate

• Patreon: www.patreon.com/koreank9rescue
