Serge's Story

There's a bold vibe to Serge that lets you know you're in the presence of a dog who is ready to get to work and have fun while doing it ALL! With his thick white, gray and black coat and stunning
eyes and tall ears that snap into a full salute the moment something catches his attention, he looks every bit the husky come shepherd mix that he is. At about 55 lbs now, he could use to fill out just a bit more.
Serge is a strapping young man who mixes smarts and athleticism. His energy would love an outlet...whether that's physical exercise, mental challenges, or opportunities to explore. He's friendly, social, and peopleoriented, but he's also focused and alert, always ready for the next job or adventure.
He's seeking a family who understands his needs: structure, engagement, and time devoted to his development. With his best people at wingfolks, Serge will channel all that drive into becoming a remarkable companion who is loyal, enthusiastic, and fully invested in being part of your world.
Looking for a dog who brings the gusto? Serge is ready to meet you, so fill out an application today!
**Hiking feedback: " He would fit well with an active family and maybe a runner. If you want a high energy partner for a 2 to 3 mile run, Serge is ready and willing!
**Additional hike notes: " Serge was such a lovely and cuddly boy! He radiated joy and was so much fun to be around! He always wanted to greet everyone and was so excited when anyone would stop to pet him, especially if he could get up close and cuddle with them. With other dogs, he was really good as well! He didn't seem to care as much about dogs as he did humans, but they didn't bother him either and he had fun seeing what each of the other ones were up to on the hike!

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
