Serenity's Story

Hi, I'm Serenity! I'm a 16-month-old yellow girl with lots of puppy energy and an even bigger heart. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who's always ready for an adventure, I might be your perfect match!

One of my favorite things in the world is playtime. I love toys, although I can be a little tough on them, so durable toys are definitely the way to go. I'm also working on learning how this whole "fetch" thing works. I've got the chasing part down perfectly, bringing the ball back is still a work in progress!

I love going for walks and meeting new people and dogs. I'm still learning my leash manners, but I'm eager to keep practicing. I get along great with other dogs and enjoy playing with my foster brother and the neighbor dogs. I'm also good with kids, although I can get a little jumpy and still have some puppy nipping habits, so I'd probably do best with children who are used to energetic young dogs. As for cats, I haven't met any yet, so were not sure how I'd feel about them.

A fenced yard would be a dream come true for me. I love running, playing, and keeping an eye on those fascinating squirrels and bunnies. They're just so much fun to chase! While I enjoy having dog friends, I don't necessarily need a canine sibling as long as I have plenty of love, exercise, and attention.

I'll admit that car rides aren't my favorite thing yet, but I'm a good sport and will hop right in when asked. After a busy day of playing, though, I'm all about the snuggles. There's nothing better than curling up next to my people on the couch for some quality cuddle time.

I'm a smart girl who already knows sit, stay, and lay down. I was surrendered by my previous owner, so I came into foster care with some basic manners, but I'd love a family who will continue helping me learn and grow. I'm also an excellent sleeper! I sleep quietly in my crate all night and don't make a peep until my foster mom comes downstairs in the morning.

I'm sweet, loving, playful, and ready to find a family that will spend lots of time with me and help me become the best dog I can be. Could that family be yours?

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
