After previously spending time in foster and returning to us due to some behavioural challenges and fearfulness, Selma has come back to the shelter and shown us just how much progress she can make!<br/><br/>This goofy girl is affectionate, playful, and absolutely LOVES belly rubs. She also has a serious appreciation for water - especially when that means laying directly in the middle of a good mud puddle! She loves rolling around in the grass and making the most of every opportunity to have fun.<br/><br/>Selma is still working on some of her puppy basics, including leash skills and manners, so her future family should be prepared to continue her training using positive, force-free methods. She is eager to learn, motivated by treats, and has SO much potential!<br/><br/>With her energy and enthusiasm, Selma could be a great candidate for dog sports, training classes, hiking, or other fun activities that provide plenty of physical AND mental stimulation.<br/><br/>Selma would prefer to be the only dog in the home and would do best with older children due to her high energy and excitable nature.<br/><br/>She’s young, affectionate, and full of potential - and she’s looking for someone patient, active, and committed to helping her continue becoming the wonderful dog we know she can be.<br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $550<br/>Includes microchip, spay/neuter, flea & tick treatment, all vaccines, and deworming.<br/><br/>Please note: We adopt to force-free homes only.
