Selene's Story
Selene is what some call a "brown desert dog". It's not a bad thing and in Selene's case it fits her. A friend of ARL had been trying for nearly a year to catch her. Selene had a large wound on her hip, she had been living in the desert for quite a while. She wasn't feral, she seemingly had contact with humans before and managed to survive a sad situation. ARL has had her since April 8 and we are listing her now because of the changes she has been thru, her wound all healed and her interaction with humans now. She is a very laid back girl and learning life can be much better than she has experienced. She still has some adjusting to do but we feel she will get there and hopefully learn how life really should be in a real home of her own. Please check out Shelly's story also, it was a very similar situation, rescued by the same person, but Shelly is still finding her way. Her situation may take more time. She isn't quite as comfortable as Selene is with humans. My adoption fee is $200 which includes my spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm disease test, Microchip/registration fee and collar . ADOPT ME TODAY and find a friend for life! And remember that adopting a pet is a life long commitment.
