What is Socorro Animal Shelter Adoption Center’s adoption process?

Dog and Puppy Adoptions: Price is $95.00 which includes exam, rabies vaccine and spay fee with Animal Haven Veterinary Clinic or Ark of Socorro Veterinary Clinic. (Excess fees on shots and larger breed dog sterilization is not included.) If DOG is already sterilized the fee is then $50.00 which includes exam, and rabies vaccine. Cat and Kitten Adoptions: Price is $75.00 which includes exam, rabies vaccine and spay fee with Animal Haven Veterinary Clinic or Ark of Socorro Veterinary Clinic. (Excess fees on shots and larger breed cat sterilization is not included.) If CAT is already sterilized the fee is then $50.00 which includes exam, and rabies vaccine. All Animals are given vaccinations upon entering the shelter. Dogs: DA2PP & Bordetella, Cats: Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia. Foster Program is also available upon request for application.
