After everything he has already been through at such a young age, we are determined to make sure his next home is truly his forever home.<br/><br/>Sebastian is young, playful, energetic, and affectionate. He absolutely loves the company of other dogs and needs a home with another young, playful dog who can be his companion, playmate, and help him feel secure.<br/><br/>Personality & Traits<br/><br/>• Sweet and affectionate<br/>• Very playful and energetic<br/>• Loves other dogs<br/>• Great with children<br/>• Smart and eager to learn<br/>• Loves being with his people<br/>• High-energy young dog<br/>• No cats<br/><br/>Separation Anxiety<br/><br/>Sebastian does suffer from separation anxiety and is currently on medication to help manage it.<br/><br/>He does not do well when left alone for long periods of time. His new family must have someone home often and understand that helping Sebastian feel safe and secure will take patience, consistency, structure, and commitment.<br/><br/>His separation anxiety is not something we expect a new family to simply "fix." We are looking for someone prepared to continue working with him and give him the time he needs to adjust to another major change in his life.<br/><br/>Sebastian's Ideal Home<br/><br/>The following requirements are non-negotiable:<br/><br/>• Another young, playful dog in the home is REQUIRED<br/>• A nice-sized yard with a HIGH, SECURE, SOLID FENCE is REQUIRED<br/>• Someone home often is REQUIRED<br/>• No condos or apartments<br/>• No cats<br/>• Experience with large, energetic dogs<br/>• Family willing to continue working with his separation anxiety<br/>• Commitment to continued training, exercise, structure, and socialization<br/>• Financially prepared for professional grooming and lifelong veterinary care<br/><br/>Sebastian is a big, active boy and can be a jumper. For his safety, we will not consider homes without an appropriate high, secure fence.<br/><br/>Goldendoodle Commitment<br/><br/>Goldendoodles require significant lifelong care. Sebastian's adopter must be prepared for regular professional grooming, routine brushing, annual veterinary care, vaccinations, monthly preventatives, exercise, training, and any unexpected medical expenses that may arise.<br/><br/>At only one year old, Sebastian could be part of your family for many years to come. No exceptions will be made.<br/><br/>Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption. We carefully review each application and will contact the applicants we believe may be the best match for Sebastian. Meet and greets are scheduled only after an application has been reviewed and approved.<br/><br/>Sebastian was surrendered by the family he knew and has already experienced enough change in his young life.<br/><br/>We will not let him down again.
