Sebastian's Story

Hi! My name is Sebastian and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was being placed on something bad called the list. Right before that could happen, a nice lady with a small local rescue came and got me and then reached out to BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes. I am an older guy, probably around 10years old, and appear to be a buff-colored chihuahua mix. I am a little over 13lbs and I have some of the problems that come with older dogs (some vision loss but I do get around good and hard of hearing) so I would love to find a quiet home that would keep me safe while allowing me to explore my surroundings; in return, I will give you my heart. I was pretty confused when I first came into foster but everyone is being really nice to me and I get regular good food and treats which I take very gently. I have gotten along with the other small dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats. I've done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding, but I would prefer to be out just chilling by you or on a nice, comfy dog bed. I'm ok on leash but a fenced yard or small area would be great so I could take care of my business and do a little exploring. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
