Just over 25lbs, around a year old, with a very sweet disposition and ears to die for...<br/>Scruffy is the funnest, playful Schnauzer mix pup <br/>His energy level is about 8/10.<br/><br/>Scruffy is:<br/>* Good with all dogs. He initiates play with his furfoster siblings. He is friendly when he meets new dogs on walks.<br/>* He needs another dog in the home to play with, <br/>* Scruffy likes toys and balls. He pulls all the toys out of the toy basket.<br/>* Good with Cats? Unknown<br/>* Good with Kids. <br/>* Scruffy seeks out attention and likes to lay in foster’s lap.<br/>* He is potty trained and crate trained.<br/>* Good on leash, although he pulls some. He could benefit from a gentle leader or further training if his owner does not want him to pull. He enjoys walks and still needs an active lifestyle.<br/>* He is happy to meet new people and dogs, with little hesitation to be sure he is safe. He is good with strangers who come over and wants affection and attention from visitors.<br/>* Scruffy needs his own secure back yard where he can run and play. <br/><br/>He is a great companion a will make a great family dog.<br/>. <br/>Scruffy is utd on shots, microchipped and already neutered. <br/><br/>His foster says:<br/>“Scruffy is a happy, goofy boy. He still acts like a puppy, bouncing around and jumping up for attention. He is good in the car and enjoys outings. He was very good at the veterinarian, and the vet assistant said that it was very rare to see dogs who were as good as Scruffy receiving treatment and then waiting in the kennel. He will be a wonderful companion and part of the family. He is very soft and does not shed. When I picked him up from the shelter, he was a mess and had uncomfortable mats. He will need regular grooming to keep him happy and looking his best.<br/>I think that he would do well in an active home, as long as there's not too much craziness.He can be a bit vocal when excited, so lowering excitement teaches him to calm down. <br/>As long as he's getting attention from his family, whether that's lots of attention from one person, or attention from several people, he will be happy.”<br/><br/>*** Donation is $375 to help us continue our work<br/>*** Apply online at furfriendsrescue.com<br/>***We do not DNA test and do not guarantee breed purity or accuracy
