Scrappy's Story

This jaunty little man definitely marches to the beat of his own drum! Scrappy is the kind of dog who only has eyes for one person-and to his chosen person, he will give his whole heart.

To the lucky person who adopts him, Scrappy will be the most devoted, snuggly, cuddly, go-everywhere little love bug you could ever wish for. Everyone else? Well... he'll tolerate you. He's a one-person kind of guy, and once he chooses you, you are *his person*!

Scrappy is wonderful with other dogs and loves to cuddle and snuggle with them, too\. That said, when it comes to his person, he will grudgingly share-but he may also try to boss everyone around and make sure he gets the prime cuddle position\! At just 15 pounds, he's easy to redirect, and he takes corrections from other dogs very well. It doesn't mean he won't keep trying, though!

His perfect home would be with a dog-savvy person who is looking for a constant companion-someone to keep them company, share their days, and have a little shadow following them everywhere.

Scrappy is house-trained, doesn't chew or destroy things, and when you're busy and can't give him your full attention, he's perfectly happy to curl up at your feet, on your lap, or somewhere nearby.

He's a wonderful little dog with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He's just a **one-person dude** looking for his person.

Scrappy is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. All he needs now is his person.

**If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.petconnectrescue.org to complete our adoption questionnaire.**

The adoption fee for this dog is $425. Routine vetting and spay or neuter surgery are included in the adoption fee.

For more information, please email gpeace@petconnectrescue.org
