Scrappy's Story

Meet Scrappy! This little fella is about 25ish lbs and around 1 year old. He came to us very underweight and running the streets. If we had to make a wild guess as to his mix, we might say Shiba/Chihuahua/Terrier. But it’s anyone’s best guess. He’s got the cutest little curly tail and a wonderful personality. Scrappy gets along great with other dogs, and completely ignores cats. Scrappy would love a home of his own! He is up to date on all shots and preventative, heartworm negative, and neutered! Please let us know if you would like to meet him!

Madisonville Animal Control's Adoption Policy

All animals adopted through us will be up to date on vaccinations, HW and flea meds, and spayed or neutered. The adoption fees for our animals are as follows. Puppies under 4 months: $65 Dogs over 4 months: $50 Kittens and cats: $30 If you would like to set up an appointment to meet any of our dogs please call the Animal Control Officer Ellie Hickerson at 936-245-9006 Monday-Friday 8am until 5pm.
