Scrappy's Story

If you've always wanted a Beagle but wished they came in a slightly more compact, fun-sized package, then meet your new best friend!

This handsome boy has all the things we love about Beagles-the adorable floppy ears, the charming personality, and the ability to make you smile every single day-but in a smaller package that's just too cute for words.

He came to us as an owner surrender, and through no fault of his own. His family welcomed another child and unfortunately discovered an allergy, forcing them to make the heartbreaking decision to find him a new home. Because of that, he's already well-versed in family life and knows exactly how to be a wonderful companion.

He's housebroken, gets along well with other dogs, and would fit nicely into a home with or without children. He's the kind of dog who is happy to be part of whatever his family is doing, whether that's family movie night, neighborhood walks, backyard playtime, or simply hanging out on the couch.

And every family needs a protector, right?

Well, this boy takes his security duties very seriously. Squirrels? Suspicious. Delivery trucks? Worth monitoring. And don't even get him started on those dangerous leaves blowing across the front yard. Someone has to keep watch, and he's more than willing to step up to the job.

Mostly, though, he's just a happy, loving dog looking for a family to call his own. He has so much personality packed into his little body and is ready to bring laughter, companionship, and plenty of floppy-eared charm to his future home.

All that's missing is a family to share it with. Could that be yours?
