Meet Scout! <br/><br/>Scout was found at a known dumping site, doing his best to survive by searching for scraps of food. Thankfully, one of our amazing fosters rescued him and gave him the safety he deserved. <br/><br/>Scout is around 30 pounds and estimated to be 67 years old. Hes a sweet, gentle hound who deserves a family of his own.<br/><br/>Scout did test heartworm positive, but hes already started treatment with Doxycycline and Heartgard. With continued monthly heartworm prevention, we hope hell be heartworm negative very soon.<br/><br/>He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his loving personality shines through. Scout would do best with another friendly dog in the home and must have a securely fenced yard, as hounds love to follow their noses.<br/><br/>His $100 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, flea/tick prevention, and the care hes received while in rescue. He will need to stay on monthly heartworm prevention for life.<br/><br/>To adopt Scout, please complete an application at www.fureverfurkids.com.
