Scout's Story

Scout needs a new family.<br/>Scout just celebrated his 1st birthday, He is a 1-year-old Bernedoodle, He is fixed and up to date on vaccines.<br/>Scout was born with a cleft palate. He was human-raised, and tube fed to save his life. Then he had two surgeries – one for his cleft pallet and one for an arm limb deformity. He did amazing with both surgeries. He’s now a healthy, active puppy with no medical issues. <br/>As a result of how his life started, though, Scout missed out on his “childhood” – and so has just spent some time in a wonderful training program, catching up, getting some retraining, and learning how to be a dog.<br/>He’s been a terrific student – his trainers love him a lot. They call Scout their little Muppet. He really is such a sweet boy.<br/>Scout needs an adult family with people who are experienced with, and love doodles, who can provide firm leadership as well as lots of love. Scout would need a more dominant dog to live with - a dog that is not a push over. He also is very young and needs to be active. <br/>Please help us find this truly good boy a safe and soft landing!
