Scout's Story

This is Scout. Scout is available for adoption but ONLY to people experienced in owning animals with medical needs. Scout suffers from seizures and is on a daily medication for them. This medication makes him want any type of human food really bad, so if left unattended he will get into the trash. Despite this, he is picky with his dog food and will only eat a certain kind which we do have here at the shelter and will inform anyone interested in adopting. Scout is a really good boy and gets along well with cats and children. He is a good boy who can get along with other dogs. He is friendly and playful. Scout is potty trained and leash trained. He also knows how to sit. The shelter is no place for an animal with special needs like this. We absolutely do everything we can, but a home is ideal. He is also available for rescue or foster. Please message/call us with any questions and don’t forget to share ❤️
