Scout's Story

Hi there! I'm Scout, a very happy three-month-old black lab, and let me tell you, life is pretty fantastic. I weigh about twenty-two pounds, which is perfect for zoomies and, of course, for carrying my most prized possession: my treat dispenser ball. It’s got little holes, and treats fall out when I roll it around, which is my absolute favorite way to spend an afternoon.

Anything I can chase, I love! Balls, squeaky toys, even my own tail (though that one’s a bit tricky). And chewing? Oh boy, I’m a pro. My humans give me lots of things to gnaw on, and I make sure to give them a good workout.

But the bestest thing in the whole world is playing with my friends. I have some older dog siblings here, and we have the best time wrestling and chasing. They’re all different sizes, but I’m not picky! What really makes my tail wag the hardest, though, are the tiny, fluffy kittens. They're only eight weeks old, and they're so much fun to bat around (gently, of course!). They hiss and pounce, and I do my best puppy wiggles in return. I think I’d be super happy in a home with another furry friend, a dog or a cat, but I’m so full of love, I bet I could be a happy solo explorer too, as long as I have my treat ball!

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
