Meet Scout!<br/><br/>Scout is a beautiful 6 month old puppy who came from a very sad situation. She and her siblings were found in a milk crate in Perris, CA abandoned. A Good Samaritan found them and then contacted us. We were so thankful to take them in!!<br/><br/>Scout was adopted by a family in San Diego, but unfortunately they cannot keep her. Her adoptive mom needs knee surgery and can't give Scout what she needs :( We are so sad for Scout BUT we know that her forever is out there. She is an incredible girl!!<br/><br/>SCOUT<br/>Approximately 6 months old<br/>Shepherd mix<br/>Goofy, loving, cuddly, will be a GREAT adventure dog. Currently living with a Golden Retriever sister. Loves toys and will be so rewarding. The adoption process is considered a very personal experience at The McDonough Rescue. Besides a thorough adoption application, we believe a phone call, home check and overall personal relationship with potential adopters is so important. We know that adopting a new family member can be overwhelming, so hand holding and talking through the process with potential adopters is a crucial step. We believe that this allows both the new pet and new family to all feel supported.
