Scout

Scout somehow manages to be both a Velcro puppy and an independent little explorer. One minute she's quietly following her people from room to room, and the next she's stationed by the front door, calmly supervising the world outside like she has important responsibilities to attend to.

As a Beagle/Shepherd mix puppy for adoption, Scout has a confidence and independence that make her especially memorable. She enjoys doing her own thing, exploring her surroundings, and finding the perfect place to relax, but she never stays away from her people for long. The smallest girl in the litter, she carries herself with a quiet self-assurance that often makes people smile.

You'll love how balanced Scout is. She enjoys affection and companionship but isn't demanding about it. She's content to check in, spend time nearby, and then settle down to watch the world go by from her favorite observation post. If you're hoping to adopt a rescue dog who combines curiosity, independence, and a sweet connection to her people, Scout may be exactly the puppy you've been looking for.

Scout is available for transport to Northern New Jersey (Bayonne/NYC Metro area), serving adopters throughout New Jersey and the greater New York area, including Long Island.
