Scout's Story

Scout is the sweetest, most wonderful gentleman who is still looking for a family to call his own.

He’s approximately 7 or 8 months and weighs in around 50lbs. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and knows how to sit, lay down, stay, come, and “go to crate.” We’re working on walking at a heel and we’re getting there.

He’s a shy boy, but once you’re in his circle of trust, he’ll be your best bud for life. He’s been fine with men, women, kids, and toddlers, and is mostly a gentle boy (he’s still a puppy after all). He is a little mouthy, but redirects easily.

He does well with dogs his size and larger. He’s got a high prey drive so he needs appropriate supervision around smaller animals. He’s not been introduced to cats.

He’s been very easy to train and enjoys working for treats!

Scout is a world class cuddler and loves spending time with his people. Because of his timidness, he’d benefit from a home that is quiet, patient, and structured.
