Scout

Scout came to us all the way from South Texas after ending up on a shelter's euthanasia list. When we find that out, we said, "Oh no way, José!" and tagged her to make the trip to South Dakota instead. We are so thankful we did because she has been an absolute joy to have around.

Scout is estimated to be around 1 year old and weighs about 55 pounds. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and does great with children. Like many young pups, she can get excited and may jump up from time to time but it's only because she wants to give you the biggest hug! She loves to snuggle close, soak up all the pets she can get, and simply be near her people.

Since she's still a youngster, Scout will do best with plenty of toys and enrichment to keep her busy. A few good chew toys will go a long way in keeping her entertained.

We would prefer that Scout have a physically fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off some of that young-dog energy.

Scout is fully vetted:
Spayed
Vaccinated
Dewormed
Microchipped
Heartworm tested (negative! )
Nails trimmed
Ears cleaned
Flea and tick prevention
