Scout's Story

Scout is a LOVER! He wants to keep his bonded person in sight at all times! He does not understand the concept of Personal Space! Definitely a Velcro dog AFTER you earn his trust.
Scout needs someone who is breed specific experienced.
He will require a few meet and greets before you take him home. He needs the best opportunity to succeed and that includes meeting him multiple times so he can get to know you and you can earn his trust.

He is crate trained. He will go into the crate quickly at meal times now!
In the mornings, he is very excited to see me and Jumps around in the crate and barks. He does settle down quickly He needs to be taught it ALL...manners, how to play with toys, which is obvious he never has.😢 The good news is he likes treats, so there is food motivation!
He is stand offish to strangers in the house and growls.

He is wonderful with my two dogs! He has shown no aggression to them. Loves them. Plays with them!

My cat he is curious about, he sits next to her and watches her. When she jumps down, he follows her, no chasing.

HE IS SMART. With patience, positive reinforcement and consistency Scout is going to be an AMAZING pet!
I believe he would do great with someone who works from home or is home more often than not.

Whoever is the lucky person to adopt him, will have a best friend! You will just need to be patient while he learns to trust you❤️
He is a digger...
