SCOTTIE's Story
Scottie is an approximately 6 year old purebred border collie. Scottie weighs 36 pounds and has a gorgeous coat. He is a gem of a dog looking for a soft place to land.

After spending most of his life alone in a backyard while his owner worked, he is now seeking a home were he can be a part of the family. Scottie gets along with other dogs and is good with people and older children. We are not sure how he is with cats. We suspect he would chase them if they run.

Scottie is housetrained and rides well in the car. He's good on leash. And loves to be with his people. Scottie settles nicely in the house and is not a high energy dog. He loves romping in the yard and will chase squirrels if you have any.

Scottie is considered special needs because he has high urinary pH levels and needs to be on a prescription dog food. This food is approximately $85 for 25 pounds. Not cheap.

But he's worth it! He's a great dog and has become a valued family member in his foster home.

Scottie's adoption fee is $350. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped and we will include a new bag of his prescription dog food.

If you are interested in possibly meeting Scottie, please complete an application located here:

https://idawg.org/application
