Scottie's Story
Scottie is a 9 year old female golden retriever who was rescued from a puppy mill on July 22nd, two months after giving birth to her last litter of pups. When she came to our rescue, joining her was Silly and Spice her pups, plus one year old Sammy, her son (now all adopted).

Scottie just cannot get close enough to her foster mom. She is good with other dogs. We still waiting to spay Scottie when she is healthier. In August, Scottie had some investigative care with an ultrasound. This proved to show no abnormalities with her liver, spleen, or kidneys.

She has now put on weight and is such a happy girl. She is a confident dog and does not need another dog in the home to be happy. She only needs lots of attention from her people.

A physical fenced yard is required with her adoption. Scottie still needs spayed, and we hope to be able to do this soon. If you are interested in adopting, please read How to Adopt at www.gr-rescue.org and follow the directions from there.
