Scooter #8's Story
Meet Scooter #8, the most lovable male yellow lab you will ever meet! He has a wonderful temperament. This adorable pup is just over a year old and weighs just 40 pounds. Even though he is a year old, he is still learning how to be a dog for the first time. He enjoys the company of both people and dogs, and would benefit from household with a large fenced-in yard and a doggy friend he can learn from. Scooter is eager to please and is a very fast learner, so with plenty of treats, training is a breeze! He has mastered the commands “sit”, “paw”, “down” and “come”. His foster family is still working on “stay” and crate manners. On walks, Scooter is well-behaved on the leash. He is almost completely housetrained but still needs to work on not having accidents in the crate. With a little bit of patience and training, Scooter is ready to fit right into his forever home!

QUESTIONS: For additional information about Scooter #8 please email Ann
Hilchey: ann.hilchey@labs4rescue.org

Scooter #8 is being fostered in Connecticut.

🐾 HOW TO ADOPT: The fastest way to start is to submit an adoption application directly (labs4rescue.com/adopt).
